Burdock Root

Burdock root is both food and medicine, and it is a powerhouse of antioxidants that help fight disease. Burdock root contains Vitamins B complex and E and has trace minerals of potassium, phosphorous, chromium, cobalt, iron, magnesium, silicon, zinc and sodium. It has been traditionally used for soothing the kidneys, as a blood purifier, relieving the lymphatic system, rheumatism, gout, GI tract disorders, stomach ailments, constipation, catarrh, fever, infection, fluid retention and skin problems.
